Project time
2024- now
We are excited to once again collaborate with Uppsala University on a new project at BMC – the Biomedical Centre. This time, the focus is on Level 0 of the A-line, where we are creating an updated environment for students and staff, including new study spaces and social areas.
A Modern and Sustainable Interior Design Concept
A-linjen serves as a vital artery connecting the various buildings at BMC. On Plan 0, characterized by a high flow of people, you’ll find lecture halls, meeting rooms, and other central functions. Indicum has been tasked with developing an interior concept that combines modern functionality with sustainable solutions and a harmonious aesthetic. Building on our previous work on A-linjen, we continue to prioritize the reuse and refurbishment of existing furnishings. By restoring furniture and integrating it with a carefully curated color palette, we create a cohesive and sustainable environment that meets both practical and aesthetic needs.
En inspirerande och funktionell studieplats
The updated Level 0 will offer a variety of study spaces designed to support both focused work and social interactions. The concept aligns with A-linjen’s green and innovative identity, creating an inspiring environment that fosters learning and connection. We look forward to following the project’s progress in 2024 and are proud to continue contributing to spaces that enhance the experiences of Uppsala University’s students and staff.
